Day Care Worker From Bohemia Accused Of Dragging, Hitting Children In East Patchogue

A former childcare worker on Long Island has been accused of endangering the welfare of several young children.

According to Suffolk County Police, the suspect grabbed the arms and dragged two 3-year-old children and struck the back of the head of another 3-year-old.

Following an investigation into separate incidents at the day care facility located on Montauk Highway in East Patchogue, Roshanne Marks, age 33, of Bohemia, was arrested, Suffolk County Police announced on Saturday, Oct. 26.

According to police, Marks grabbed the arms and dragged two 3-year-old children and struck the back of the head of another 3-year-old.

Marks was arrested and charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. 

She will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
